For the first time in MSD history, 26 students traveled to Chicago, Illinois to compete in the largest first semester national tournament, Glenbrooks. Waking up early on Saturday morning to compete, the group was met with a “magical” flurry of snow to sweeten the first morning of competition. Fast forward to Sunday, and the speech team was awarded 2nd place in this prestigious tournament, only one point away from 1st!
The weekend was filled with lots of firsts, cold weather, and of course...pizza.
